for Ailiuridae If you'll try to bind someone who not in consent (its hard to bind and suspend unconscious one too) you'll undesnad this model has ENTHUSIASTIC CONSENT If some feminists say so - they must see huge amount of rape. Thats must be VERY sad femenists I feel sorry for them. You may see other "rape" scenes at Vlada's gallery. Model the same and he continues being raped happily.
Based on the intricate shibari-esque knot system at his back (which is done for beauty as well as binding but should be able to be escaped if needed), it is intended to invoke bondage fetish. (Because if it's not, if it's meant to be more "captured by teh badguys", I don't understand why the bondage ropework.)
o.o I thought you were genuinely considering the intent of the piece and I offered my opinion on the matter. Sorry, without vocal inflection (which text lacks), I tend to assume someone is asking an honest question if it's not plastered with smiley images and such. xD My bad bro.
The comments on this are undeserving of the quality and composition here. It has a very tribal punishment feel, therefore almost consensual as if he knows he did something wrong. I enjoy the way the rope mirrors the trees in cross hatching. Well done and congrats on your daily deviation.
And tell me why exactly shouldn't I be seeing this? Its nudity! I already saw a butt, I already saw a head and a back. Sorry but I don't see anything offensive in this!I think it's beautiful and I totally have the right to say it!Being nude is perfectly normal and ok! We are humans, and nudity isn't something that is offensive! The model is totally OK with that, it's art! The person isn't desperate, it's not in pain. It's not violent!Yes, beauty is relative. It changes throught the eyes of everyone! Why do you judge me because of my age? I know for sure that this world doesn't need people like you! You are against women, against equality, disrespectful!
You appear to be intelligent and sane. Why are you bothering to reply to an obviously hateful, misogynist troll ... who is missing more than a few mental marbles?
It's been my experience that males who hate women as much as he does usually do so because women don't like them, for obvious reasons. Leave them to each other and to their online forums, accessed through computers in their parents' basements.
I do not hate women or anyone in the slightest for that matter. You are purposefully twisting my words. To hate a person is to commit murder within one's heart. There is a huge difference between hating the prospects of sin & acts that are sinful, compared to what you were implying. The reason why I did not just keep quiet when I accidentally saw this image on DA's homepage, is that like others that are saved through Christ Jesus I fight head on in the battle for souls; but not with force no, with words of truth. I cannot force people to accept that something is wrong, but I will still say it anyway: for if I did not, then who would?
I think it looks like a communion with nature, and since there is no violence in the scene it doesn't seem so disturbing to me. If beauty was only angels and ladies with pink hair then art would be nothing. Beauty is nature, life, nudity, emotions, diversity. And most of all, beauty is relative~
Okay, I can't help it. The ropes tying him at this back, see the intricate knotwork? That looks like traditional shibari bondage to me which is sexual in nature. You are welcome to call this beautiful, but bondage and suspension like this has the intent to imply helplessness, restraint, and submission, which the subject generally enjoys. It does imply some form of violence, even if it's accepted or permitted. Though nudity is natural, as is sexuality, communion with nature is a little bit far for me. x)
It sounds like you're saying he's becoming one with the tree, which he isn't. The tree is used as the device with which punishment is given in a harsh and overexposed landscape. A man is bound with his head in an awkward angle, upside down which would send the blood to his head which would eventually cause him to pass out, and his skin is left bare and exposed to the harsh elements - it is extremely violent imagery, though yes, still beautifully composed and executed.
I think the artist intention was exactly what you said, but what is nice with art is that many people can interpret it however they want. Even if my communion with nature is far from what the artist intented to do, it's what comes in my mind when I look at this picture. And the communion isn't between the model and the scenery (or the tree), but simply because there isn't anything unnatural in this. I love the use of the rope, the nudity, and the perfect background and tree. Seems very peaceful to me, even if the artist doesn't mean to make a peaceful picture. I understand that my point of view isn't what most people think, and may be a dirsturbing way of thinking, but that's the essence that's drawn back to me when I look at Euronat.
It can also mean you haven't had personal experience with those things and thus haven't had that experience to color how you view it. (Not saying that as a "you're just inexperienced", but rather I step back and realize of course I look at those things because that is my reality.)
Keep doing what you're doing and being open minded.
Actually He`ve stripped, set up the camera(model is photograph there), let to tie him.(you cant tie so beautyfull some strugling person please believ me) and try to set up his mood of total detachment of surrounds to give sertain emotion. So I'm also claim there is no violence at that photo. Also please dont mix up violence and BDSM/fetish culture. Althought there was no play of hunter /prey in this particular case.
No one forced him to strip and he had to consent to the bondage. There is nothing wrong with this. I may not agree with the "communion with nature" part, but I see no violence. He had to agree to this, no one forced him.
And what I find to be beautiful is maybe far different from yours. So beauty is indeed relative.
How could it possibly be a communion with nature, when there is no way to free one's self from such an imprisoned state? Regarding the nudity part of your reply it always has to do with perverseness no matter what you claim otherwise. Either way, it is unnatural & sickening to think that others get off from such images; let alone that they like them to begin with.
But this person is expressing herself! There is a message through this piece of art, and it's not there to be judged. The model is ok with being tied and there is no pain or anger in this. I don't think it's perverseness, it's only nature. It's only what we are made of, and there is nothing to be ashamed of.
None of the possible messages through this so called 'art' could possibly be perceived as good, except by those of whom have a twisted way of thinking. A person should not purposefully look upon the naked body of someone that is the opposite sex unless said two people are married, any other way could only be perverse; even if curiosity takes a large part in it. *Even if perverse thoughts don't surface then, they will be even more likely to do so later than they would have been.* What'd be worse is if it would be two people of the same gender. *I'm sure you don't need to ask what I mean there.*
